Mothering Sunday is on the 15th March. If you’re looking for an unusual way to treat your Mum this year, try browsing through the events pages on our website. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Good food and flowers

Spoil your Mum with afternoon tea at Peckover House in the Reed Barn Tea Room before exploring this beautiful Georgian Merchant’s House on the North Brink of the River Nene.

All mothers visiting Aberglasney Mansion and Gardens in Carmarthenshire this Mother’s Day will receive complimentary spring flowers. Show your Mum just how much she means and take her for a special afternoon tea.

If your Mum loves flowers, take her to Hartland Abbey in Devon on Mothering Sunday. Explore the gardens and woodland walks  and see all the beautiful daffodils and narcissi. Refresh yourself with a Devon cream tea after a lovely walk.

Get crafty at East Riddlesden Hall  and create a unique gift for your Mum this Mothering Sunday. Wander through the spring flowers in the garden and then indulge in a delicious slice of cake in the tearoom.

Free entry for Mums to Waterperry Gardens in Oxfordshire  this Mothering Sunday. Enjoy treats from a special menu in the teashop too!

Ham House and Gardens in London are offering free entry for Mums on Mother’s Day. Explore the historic collections and have a bite to eat in the newly refurbished Orangery Cafe.

Mums go free at Trentham Gardens in Stoke on Trent on 15th March. Relax in the Italian Gardens and take a stroll around the lake.

We’d love to know where you are planning to visit with your Mum this Mothering Sunday. Tweet us your pictures @HudsonsHeritage
